Careers

Do the work properly. Have it on record.

We run small, disciplined crews on metro and regional WA jobs — and we back the people who take pride in doing it right.

Work where the standard matters

Most crews get told to move dirt faster. Ours get backed to move it properly.

Fitch Civil is built on Tier-1 QA discipline — hold-points, lot records, work that passes first time. For an operator, that means your work is documented, defensible and respected. Nobody asks you to cut a corner and hope.

We don't keep a bench. We hire when jobs mobilise, and we go back to the people who delivered last time.

  • Metro Perth and regional WA — variety across both.
  • Modern, well-maintained hired plant matched to the job.
  • Small crews, direct communication, no layers.

Who we look for

The people behind the standard.

01

Plant operators

Excavator, dozer, grader, roller and scraper operators who read a drawing, respect a level, and finish work they are proud to put their name on.

  • Tickets current — VOCs, white card and plant competencies up to date.
  • GPS-guided machines — experience valued, training backed.
  • Final trim — operators who can hit design surface are gold.
02

Drivers & ground crew

HR/HC drivers, water cart and moxy operators, and leading hands who keep a site moving safely and keep the paperwork honest.

  • Prestarts done properly — not pencil-whipped.
  • Site sense — exclusion zones, spotting, comms discipline.
  • Leading hands — who can run a lot and its records.
03

What you get from us

The discipline of a Tier-1 site without the bureaucracy of one — and records that make your work visible instead of invisible.

  • Straight dealing — clear scope, clear expectations, paid right.
  • Your work on record — lot conformance that shows your quality.
  • Safety without theatre — real controls, no box-ticking circus.
  • Repeat work — deliver once and you are first call next job.
04

How to put your hand up

We hire as jobs mobilise rather than running a bench, so an expression of interest now puts you at the front of the queue when the next scope lands.

  • Email your CV — to Info@FitchCivil.com with the machine(s) you run.
  • Include tickets — licences, VOCs, inductions and expiry dates.
  • Referees — supervisors who have seen your work, not mates.
  • Live roles — posted here as they open.

Reckon you fit?
